This is a picture of the antenna I used to track the XABEN payload on the 26th May 2012.

The antenna is a simple wire vertical dipole soldered onto a BNC socket, with a choke balun on the coax. The Fibreglass pole is 10m high, but I only had about 5m of coax to hand at the time, so the dipole is just below the roofline.

North is to the right of this picture, so there was a reasonable Line Of Sight.
